Bits come in a variety of sizes from 1/6 inch to 1 inch. Replacement parts as well as diamond glass drills can be purchased to fit all glass grinder. To extend the life of your stained glass grinder, Nickates recommends using glass grinder coolants. The glass grinder coolant is added to the water and prevents friction when the glass grinder bit makes contact with your glass. Coolant is also a must when drilling glass. We feel the coolant also cuts down on the squealing noise when drilling and helps you drill better holes without scallops and chipping.
